The NDIS Daily Activities support is part of the Core Supports budget, designed to assist participants in living independently at home and within their community. This budget covers a range of everyday personal activities, ensuring individuals receive the support they need to enhance their quality of life.
Under their NDIS plan, participants can access various support services, including:
- Assistance with daily personal activities to promote independence and well-being.
- Help with household tasks to maintain a clean and comfortable living environment.
- Support in shared living arrangements to foster a supportive and inclusive home setting.
These services are tailored to meet individual needs, empowering participants to live more confidently and comfortably.

NDIS social and recreation supports play a vital role in empowering individuals with disabilities to engage in their communities, fostering both social and economic participation as well as greater independence. These supports provide the necessary assistance for NDIS participants to take part in recreational activities that might otherwise be challenging due to their disability.
Some participants may only require short-term support to help develop social skills and gain confidence in participating independently. Others may benefit from temporary assistance in connecting with professionals who can facilitate their involvement in activities. For those who need ongoing support, the NDIS can provide funding to ensure continued access.
If you’re unsure how to best utilize your NDIS funding for social and recreational support, we’d love to help! Feel free to reach out to us for guidance and support.
